Conservatory of Flowers and Metson lake Engagement Shoot - Sam and Lauren

Conservatory of Flowers, Metson Lake
Sam and Lauren held their engagement shoot at the Conservatory of Flowers and Metson Lake in Golden Gate Park, wanting to incorporate the beauty of the Conservatory building and shooting around the Lake they have spent many dates and walks together and with their dog, Lucy, who was also there during Sam's marriage proposal to Lauren.
The day started out at the Conservatory of Flowers, where I loosened them up by having Sam pretend he was a dinosaur, a tysamosaurus rex if you will... :) He has such an easy going personality he gladly made a fool of himself to get Lauren to laugh, which was a common occurrence during the shoot.
After warming them up there we decided to go to Metson Lake, which has a little more significance for them and to also include Lucy, who plays a huge part in their lives and relationship together. We walked around the lake, stopping to shoot with the cherry blossoms, a bench they frequently sit on to reflect overlooking the water, and fed Lucy a good handful of treats to get her to look at the camera :)
