I previously shot an engagement shoot for Mayra and Eric around Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park, and the time finally came for the big wedding day! Located in Crockett, the venue was at the historic Old Homestead House. Eric's grandparents were actually married in the same exact location, which made the day extra special for Eric, who was touchingly walked down the aisle by his grandparents.

Not too long ago I shot a wedding for the new husband and wife--Katarina and James. I've shot many, many weddings during my career as a photographer. It's always nice hearing the couples' love storys; Katarina and James actually met through online dating-- How awesome is that?
Their wedding was held in San Jose's City Hall on West Hedding Street, San Jose, California. The ceremony was very small with only 6 guests. Congrats again Katarina and James! How's everyone doing?
I've been shooting many weddings! I shot yet another one at San Francisco City Hall. I have probably shot more than a dozen weddings here that it almost feels like home to me ;). Melissa approached me with the need for a professional photographer for this very special event. There were very few people--around 8 to 10 people. But the event was still just as precious, and I think I captured the event well. Congrats again, Melissa! I got the opportunity to shoot another wedding-- Linda and Liam's Wedding. While I have had experience shooting very big weddings, this wedding was very intimate and small, and I have to say--I really enjoyed it. The wedding was held at Moon Mountain Ranch in Sonoma. The location was absolutely amazing. It was very secluded and overlooked the beautiful vineyards and scenery of Sonoma. it was a perfect place for an intimate wedding. The ceremony and decorations were beautiful---Yellow and Teal colored theme, lovely flowers, balloons, and even some lemonade. The most enchanting part of the wedding was the candle lighting ceremony-- it definitely set the mood! Congratulations Linda and Liam!
One of the greatest things about being a photographer is I get the capture the moments that matter the most. As a photographer, the picture I take allows my clients to savor that moment and feeling in a picture and relive it over and over. It's a huge job, but it's very rewarding. Last Wednesday, I did my first videography gig for a marriage proposal. We shot at Sutro heights Park near Ocean Beach in San Francisco. Argel, has been planning this very special occasion very carefully and meticulously, so I knew I had to do an awesome job. He drove from Los Angeles to San Francisco, changed into a tuxedo for the proposal, and hired Andy Kong to play "Secrets" by One Republic as he climbed up to propose to Jessica. All of their friends and family were there to share this special moment with them as well. It was a very fun experience. I am hoping to work more with videography! Congrats, again Argel and Jessica!
Just wanted to share with you guys a shoot I did for a wedding recently! Yesterday, I was the professional photographer for Linda Merola and Liam Galbreth's Wedding. The wedding took place at Moon Mountain Road in Sonoma, California. Such as beautiful place for a wedding! Great scenery and such a romantic atmosphere. It was a very intimate wedding with around 35 guests. While I took pictures of the ceremony in the afternoon, I also took photos of the families and the newly formed family :) Linda specifically wanted photos of her and her groom, the couple and Liam's daughters, the entire wedding party, the couple with the bride's mother and family, the bride with the extended family, and the same for the groom's side of the family. I am always more than happy to listen to my clients' needs! There's nothing worse than having a picky photographer. Who wants that?? Anyways, looking forward to more weddings! Yesterday, I shot another wedding at the beautiful Piedmont Community Center in Piedmont, California for Dana Ramirez and James Molgaard. This was an awesome place to shoot at; it had wonderful rustic and natural scenery along with the perfect touch of romanticism. I will never get tired of shooting weddings -- nothing but smiles and good company. Congrats again, Dana and James! I wish you guys nothing but happiness.
Shot another wedding yesterday. Shelly and her husband were married at San Francisco City Hall on Thursday. They needed a professional photographer for some quick, quality head shots for about an hour. Even during this little amount of time, I managed to get some great shots of the bride and groom! Wedding bells are ringing everywhere this season!
Last night, I shot Cana's engagement party in San Francisco. It was a wonderful evening party located at her house. It was a pretty big engagement party, with approximately 50 guests there. Congrats, again, Cana! Wishing you and your fiance the best of luck and a happy future! |
