Yesterday, I took photos for Michelle's daughter's baptism located in Bernal Heights in San Francisco. I first shot the baptism in the afternoon, and then I shot the reception that took place in the family's home. Many of their family members gathered together to celebrate their baby girl's baptism. Great food, family, and a celebration--what could be better?

Yesterday, I had the chance to shoot yet another baptism. Seems like it's the season for baptisms! Jorge's daughter, Emilia, was baptized at Most Holy Redeemer Church on 100 Diamond Street in the Castro area in San Francisco. Emilia's parents and family members got together to celebrate this very special event.
-Ian Earlier today, I shot a little boy's birthday party in San Jose. Harshni, a photographer himself, approached me to shoot this birthday party for his son since he would be busy this day. Who could blame him? Planning and taking care of 20 little kids can be a lot to handle! The birthday party was a success, and I enjoyed working with the little tots. I am hoping to shoot more birthday events in the near future!
-Ian Last night, I shot a 40th surprise birthday party for my client, Alison at the bar Bourbon and Branch in Downtown San Francisco. I love shooting this event--especially because of its location. I've heard a lot about Bourbon and Branch, but this was my first time actually being there! Whenever I pass by, the place is usually packed. The event was very low-key with around 40 lively, fun guests. Bourbon and Branch is very classy, and not too crazy--which I liked. The lighting was very low and ambient--perfect for a little get together in San Francisco.
