Couple Photo shoots are always fun to do! Not too long ago, I shot my client Ritu Sainani and her husband. They were celebrating this 5 Year Anniversary--what an accomplishment! Ritu wanted to shoot somewhere outdoors in San Francisco. They live in San Francisco, so I think the pictures definitely reflected them as a couple.
I think the photos turned out awesome. I love shooting in San Francisco during Summertime!
I did another family shoot with a client Stacey Marcus Milo and her family. I shot each of the family members individually, and then I shot them all together. Their two-year-old son, Marcus, was such a cute little boy. I shot the Milo Family in their area, Berkeley.
I enjoy working with families--it's very easy and natural for me!
It's been a great week. A couple days ago, I was able to work again with my client Jamie Abalos. I had previously shot and set up a fun photo booth for her son's Toy-Story themed birthday party (I wrote a blog about it not too long ago!). They had such a good time with me, that Jamie recommended me for a Genentech party at Solage in Calistoga. Jamie works for Genentech, which works with the development, production, and marketing of human therapeutics.
I feel honored that she recommended me!
I think this event went great :)
Hope you all have a great weekend!
Today, I did a fun little family shoot with my client Jen Truong and her family in San Francisco. Today was Bay to Breakers in SF, so it was quite hectic in the City today!
Nonetheless, I had a great time shooting the family. The family was a very big family, consisting of about 20 family members. I love big families because it reminds me of my own family. These family shoot are always fun and lively!
Jen's Aunt also introduced me to a new wine. I'm not really a Wine-o, but this Stella Rose dessert wine was very tasty.
I also forgot to mention that I shot another client's family before Jen's family. Stacey Marcus' family was a pleasure to work with as well!
Family, Photo shoots and wine--what more can you ask for in a job?
I've got more updates for you all.
A couple days ago, I got the chance to work again with the company PayPal. This time around, I shot their new Speaker Series called TechXploration in San Jose, California. It is a free tech-focused speaker event where Valley-based luminaries discuss technological innovations, information, or insight on the industry.
For this TechXploration event, Simon Phipps (Director, Open Source Initiative (OSI) and Blogger and writer for InfoWorld UK) discussed Open Source's history and significance, and API's Copyrights and standards' implications. Fun fact, Phipps lead the open source movement for Java, Solaris, UNIX, and Sparc--How awesome is that?
There was a bunch of great food, music, music, prizes, and a number of guests!
Just updating you on a fun shoot I did recently. Last week, I took pictures as the actual Kiosk design for Cako Cupcakes and Ice Cream at Westfield Oakridge in San Jose. I don't know if you've ever seen these little stands, but they are in a bunch of Westfield malls in the area. And did I mention that the cupcakes and treats are delicious?
I shot again a couple days later due to lighting and plumbing problems. It was nothing to fret over however. I think the pictures turned out great!
S visions Inc. is the company that designed the actual Cako kiosk. This isn't the first time I've worked with them; I worked with them previously at the Westfield Solana in Fairfield and at the Westfield San Francisco Center.
Looking forward to working with them again!
