My client Andrew found me on Craigslist to shoot a very special event for him--his proposal to his longtime girlfriend. He proposed around Ghiradelli Square near San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf area at a restaurant at Tea Room, which is where they had their 1st date. How sweet, right? He proposed on their 10th year anniversary as well. The proposal went great and she was more than ecstatic! It was nice being able to capture this special moment.
Congrats again, Andrew!

I did another family shoot with the Martin Family with Linda, her husband, and their child. We shot at the amazing Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, California on Lyon Street in the Marine District. The Rotunda is amazing in person--truly monumental and magnificent. I thought this was a great location for a shoot. The pictures turned out awesome!
Happy Valentines' Day for all you lovebirds!
I spent my Valentine's Day cuddling with my camera. Just kidding. Today, I shot one of the coolest gigs. Ryan Steiger for CBS Interactive approached me because he needed a photographer to shoot their Zombie valentine themed party in which they hosted a video gaming tournament and costume contest. The tournament was part of the testing for the new Resident evil video game. It was pretty awesome seeing everyone decked out in their Zombie costumes. They even had artists doing zombie make up! The best part was that there was a couple who renewed their vows zombie-style. Such a fun event. Hope to do more events like this! |
